Statistics on gender and domestic violence

1st Biennial Report by the State of New Hampshire's Commission on the Status of Men

Mission Statement:
NCFM's Los Angeles chapter, as part of a global men's movement for gender equality,

raises awareness about and combats sexism against men in family courts, domestic violence policies, criminal sentencing, military conscription, media, education, public health policies and other areas, using public speaking, media, lawsuits, legislative advocacy, rallies, tabling and other activism tools.

Who We Are / Are Not:

We Are Not: We Are:
Politically left or right We are a nonpartisan organization consisting of Democrats, Republicans, Green Party members, Libertarians, etc.
We do not address left/right politics or identify with any political party.
Pro or anti-gay We are concerned about the equal rights of all men and boys regardless of their race, religion or sexuality.  We do not address sexual orientation or gender identity.
Anti-woman We respect all people regardless of sex.  We believe both sexes are equally capable of good and bad.  We appreciate the many women who support men's equal rights.
A family law organization We focus on activism, not direct services.  But we do provide referrals and moral support, and we sometimes provide limited court advocacy and emergency transportation to a battered men's shelter.
A support group We provide a framework for transforming grief into positive activism.  Many find this more therapeutic than a support group.
