Who We Are / Are Not:
|
We Are Not: |
We Are: |
|
Politically left or right |
We are a nonpartisan organization
consisting of Democrats,
Republicans, Green Party members,
Libertarians, etc.
We do not address left/right
politics or identify with any
political party. |
|
Pro or anti-gay |
We are concerned about the equal
rights of all men and boys
regardless of their race, religion
or sexuality. We do not address
sexual orientation or gender
identity.
|
|
Anti-woman |
We respect all people regardless of
sex. We believe both sexes are
equally capable of good and bad. We
appreciate the many
women who support men's equal rights.
|
|
A family law organization |
We focus on activism, not direct
services. But we do provide
referrals and moral support, and we
sometimes provide limited court
advocacy and emergency
transportation to a battered men's
shelter. |
|
A support group |
We provide a framework for
transforming grief into positive
activism. Many find this more
therapeutic than a support group. |
